Pathway
Scholarship

Receive A$5,000 to support your Honours or Masters Research Project in collaboration with ANSTO.

Postgraduate
Research Award (PGRA)

An annual stipend of A$9,000, travel support, and the opportunity to perform your Ph.D. research at the home of Australia’s landmark research infrastructure.

SaAFE Exchange Internship

A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for Ph.D. students and postdoctoral researchers to travel from Australia/New Zealand to France, or from France to Australia, to complete an international research project.

Early career Researcher Grant (ECRG)

Receive a one time payment of up to A$10,000 to assist you in your first five years of employment as a postdoctoral Early Career Researcher.

Visiting scientist program

The Visiting Scientist Program supports researchers from AINSE-member universities and research institutions (excluding ANSTO), who wish to undertake collaborative research at ANSTO’s Lucas Heights campus.

Overseas Conference
Scholarships

Funding for students to travel or register to attend international conferences. Present AINSE-supported research, network with established researchers, and learn about the latest developments in your field.

AINSE Supported Facilities (ASF) Scholarship

Travel funding for researchers and students undertaking research at a facility outside of ANSTO that is supported by AINSE.
