AINSE has welcomed two new Board directors – Dr Massey de los Reyes and Dr Danielle Meyrick – at its first 2026 regular Board meeting today.

Dr de los Reyes’ career has spanned most facets of the nuclear sector, including R&D positions at ANSTO and policy, regulation and national committee roles, and she is now leading complex radioisotope supply and space-nuclear research as Principal Scientist at entX Ltd. She is looking forward to complementing AINSE’s existing programs by focusing on elevating nuclear literacy, strengthening talent development and aligning training and workforce development across Australia’s nuclear science community.

Dr Meyrick is Director and Co-Founder of EPIC Theranostics and brings to the AINSE Board over two decades’ experience across nuclear medicine, radiopharmaceutical development and translational oncology. Her career has included leading global clinical development programs, building multidisciplinary teams, and supporting the international translation of nuclear science innovations. Dr Meyrick looks forward to contributing her governance, strategy, and stakeholder engagement experience to advance AINSE’s mission of advancing Australian nuclear science and engineering.
The appointments follow the recent resignations of Dr Diana Day and Dr Leonie Walsh as independent Directors, and Professor Andrew Peele who was an ANSTO representative of the Board. AINSE thanks Dr Day, Dr Walsh and Professor Peele for their contributions during their time as Board Members.
