How much additional waste is being created by the new reactor? 

None.  The volume of waste resulting from the operation of OPAL itself will be similar to that resulting from the operation of HIFAR.  Advances in radioisotope production technology will mean that, even with the projected increases in the production of medical adioisotopes, the volume of wastes arising from radioisotope production will be less than at present.
