National XRD Workshop will be held in Perth at Curtin University of Technology, 22 - 25 August, 2009. The course is for new powder people who wish to progress towards becoming proficient in Reitveld analysis of data for materials characterisation purposes. As in past years the presenters are Professor Brian O'Connor and Dr Rob Hart. The course fee is $ 2090 including GST and there are 10 places available.

ICNS2009 International Conference on Neutron Scattering - ICNS 2009, May 3 - 7, 2009, Knoxville, Tennessee. Sponsored by the Neutron Scattering Society of America (NSSA) and hosted by Oak Ridge National Laboratory, the conference showcased recent scientific results in neutron science spanning a wide range of fields.
