The conference brings together many scientific disciplines. In the tradition of the Radiation Conference, all aspects of the radiation techniques and the applications will be discussed. Papers will be supported by poster and oral presentations. The Radiation 2012 conference will gather together the radiation communities under the theme ‘Radioprotection: Past, Present and Future’.
Papers will be accepted based on the following major topics:

Abstracts: Abstracts should be typed on a single A4 page using the abstract template which can be downloaded from the AINSE website on the events page. Abstracts should be submitted by email to ainse@ainse.edu.au and should have an accompanying note detailing the address of the communicating author and preference for oral or poster presentation.

Deadline for receipt of 1 page abstract – by e-mail 9/12/2011
‘Early bird’ registrations - discounts apply 9/01/2012

Registration
Registration payments for the conference must be received by the conference coordinator no later than Monday 6th February 2012. Registration fees are in Australian dollars and include GST.
Up to and including 9/01/2012 After 9/01/2012
Participants from AINSE member organisations $320 $375
Students from AINSE member organisations $190 $245
Participants from non-member organisations $360 $415
The conference registration fee includes: attendance at all technical sessions; morning & afternoon teas; lunch(s); conference dinner and evening functions and the conference handbook.

Cancellations
Cancellations for the conference will be accepted up to 10 days prior to the event commencing and a full refund of the registration fee will be issued; after this date there will be no refund.
Any penalty applied by the hotel / motel for cancellation will be passed on to the delegate.
All cancellations must be in writing and sent to the conference coordinator.
Flights and Accommodation
AINSE will organise and pay for flights and accommodation for participants who are from AINSE member organisations providing that they present a poster / abstract. This subsidy will only be available if booked through AINSE. In general, flights will be provided Wednesday morning and Friday evening. For delegates from far North Queensland, NT, WA, and NZ travel may be provided Tuesday to Saturday, depending on flight availability.
