Dr Geraldine Jacobsen is a chemist within the Accelerator Mass Spectrometry Group. She has a BSc (Hons) and a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Western Australia. She has worked at ANSTO for 13 years and is currently leader of the AMS Chemistry Group, which is responsible for the processing of samples for AMS measurement of radiocarbon, beryllium-10, aluminium-26, chlorine-36, iodine-129 and some actinides. She is also Project Leader for the ATLAS Project which provides analytical expertise to ANSTO projects and external clients.
