Career Highlights & Achievements:

Henk is a geoscientist and graduated from the VU University in Amsterdam with a BSc in Physical Geography 1984), a MSc in Quaternary Geology and Lowland genesis (1988) and from the University of Groningen with a PhD in Mathematics and Natural Sciences in 1992. Henk is also an Adjunct Professor of Quaternary Science at the University of Technology, Sydney and the President of the Australasian Quaternary Association (www.aqua.org.au).
