Jennifer Harrison
Role at ANSTO:

Ms Harrison is a Radiochemist with ANSTO's Geo-Hydrosphere group. She graduated from the University of Technology, Sydney with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemistry and Environmental Science degree and a Bachelor of Science (Honours) Geoscience degree.
Ms Harrison joined ANSTO in 2001 and specialises in the measurement of environmental radioactivity in soil, sediments and water. Her skills are utilised by ANSTO's RadWaste and ATLAS projects for radionuclide migration research and environmental pollution studies.

  • Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemistry and Environmental Science degree and a Bachelor of Science (Honours) Geoscience degree.
  • Successful completion of two UNSW postgraduate subjects titled 'Isotopes and Radioactivity in the Environment' and 'Radioactivity: Environmental Monitoring and Remediation'.
  • Successful completion of the Radiochemistry Society course titled 'Fundamentals of Radiochemistry'.
  • Over 7 years of experience as a Radiochemist.
