Daniela graduated from Macquarie University in Sydney, with a Bachelor of Science (Environmental Studies) in 2001. She joined ANSTO shortly afterwards, as a Science Administrator for the Environmental Chemistry and Chemical Engineering departments. In 2003, Daniela was transferred to the Radiochemistry Laboratory within the Chemical Engineering department, as a Laboratory Technician, where she developed her skills in the analysis of mining ore samples for specific radionuclides withing the Thorium and Uranium decay chains. In 2007, Daniela accepted a Radiochemist position in the Low Level Radiochemistry Laboratory with the Institure of Environmental Research, where she can apply and develop her radiochemistry skills in the application of dating analyses to environmental samples for AINSE and commercial project commitments.
