Daniel is a Year in Industry student under the supervision of Dr Dehong Yu. Daniel's work utilizes synchrotron radiation and neutrons to study the magnetic properties of certain materials, including studying magnetic semiconductors using magnetic circular dichroism techniques. In addition to this, Daniel will be using neutron scattering techniques to study the properties of water confined in biological materials. He has recently finished his third year of a BSc degree majoring in Physics at the University of Wollongong.
