Her expertise includes structure and dynamics in chemistry and their relationship to properties in condensed matter materials including cement, porous coordination framework materials, and hydrogen storage materials. Her expertise in analyses techniques include Synchrotron/Laboratory X-Ray and Neutron Powder Diffraction, Rietveld analysis, Quasi-Elastic Neutron Scattering, Inelastic Neutron Scattering, and Single Crystal X-Ray Diffraction.
Qualifications and achievements:
- Brunauer award from the Cements Division of the American Ceramic Society for best cement publication (2005)
- Young Scientist's Award at the International Conference on Neutron Scattering in Munich, Germany (2001).
- Post-doctoral positions at the University of Sydney (2005-2006) and the National Institute for Standards and Technology Center for Neutron Research (2003-2005).
- Ph.D. in solid state chemistry and powder diffraction (2003) and B. App. Sc. (Chemistry, Hons. 1, 1999) from the University of Technology, Sydney.
